When you register to be a Member of Spaceback and/or use Spaceback's services, you volunteer to provide us with individual personal information – such as your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and, possibly, a credit card number (“Personal Identifiable Information”). Spaceback Members may also choose to provide or store additional information in their profiles, including but not limited to date of birth, interests, hobbies, lifestyle choices, groups with whom they are affiliated (schools, companies), videos and/or pictures, private messages, bulletins or personal statements (collectively “Profile Information”). We also collect information on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website. This data is used to manage and improve the services we provide, track usage, and for security purposes. This website is a general audience site and is intended for those thirteen (13) and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen (13) years of age.

Together, cookies and pixel tags allow us to provide better customer service by enhancing the navigation, security and functionality of the website, to personalize your experience, and for us to learn how we can improve.

Third party advertisements displayed on Spaceback services or links to other
websites may also contain cookies and pixel tags. Spaceback does not control these
third party cookies and tags. Once you leave Spaceback's website via such a link

Third party applications (such as widgets) are small bits of software, often with interactivity, that can be installed into Members’ profiles or shared with other users. However, Spaceback does not control these third party developers, and cannot dictate their actions. When a Member engages with a third party application, that Member is interacting with the third party developer, not with Spaceback. Spaceback encourages Members not to provide Personal Identifiable Information to the third party’s application unless the Member knows the party with whom it is interacting.

Spaceback will only use the Personal Identifiable Information you provide in a
Personal Identifiable Information from a third party, such as a business partner,
locate other Spaceback Members that you may already know in the physical world,
Spaceback allows Users to search for Members using registration information (i.e.,
full name or email address). Spaceback also allows Users to browse for certain
Profile Information in order to help connect with Members (i.e., schools and/or
companies where users may have attended or worked). Spaceback may also enable
Members to publicly display some registration Personal Identifiable Information
as an element of their Profile Information if they choose to do so via a setting
under “Edit Profile.”
The Spaceback search engine or other search engines may index the portion of a Member’s profile (including the Profile Information it contains) that is publicly displayed. If you have consented to receive promotional materials (e.g., newsletters) or notifications from Spaceback, Spaceback may periodically use your email address to send you such materials related to the Spaceback Services, as applicable. If you want to stop receiving such materials from Spaceback, you can change your profile settings under “Account Settings,” or follow the “unsubscribe” instructions at the bottom of each email.
Spaceback employees, agents and contractors must have a business reason to obtain access to your Personal Identifiable Information. Spaceback may share your Personal Identifiable Information with those who help manage or provide Spaceback services’ information activities (for example, message board administration, order fulfillment, statistical analyses, data processing), or with outside contractors, agents or sponsors who help us with the administration, judging and prize fulfillment aspects of contests, promotions and sweepstakes. Outside contractors, agents or sponsors may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use your Personal Identifiable Information to provide Spaceback with a specific service and not for any other purpose. Spaceback may also provide your Personal Identifiable Information to a third party in those instances where you have chosen to receive certain information and have been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires disclosure.
Spaceback also may share your Personal Identifiable Information with affiliated companies if we have a business reason to do so. Spaceback may customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on this website, or may work with outside companies to do so. Your Profile Information may be shared with these companies so this customization can be accomplished. Spaceback prohibits these companies from sharing your Profile Information with any third party or from using it for any other purpose. Anonymous “clickstream” (a record of a user’s activity), number of page views calculated by pixel tags, and aggregated demographic information may also be shared with Spaceback’s advertisers and business partners.
Spaceback reserves the right to allow access or disclosure to your Personal Identifiable Information and Profile Information in order to: (i) protect or efend the legal rights or property of Spaceback, our Affiliated Companies or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); (ii) protect the safety and security of our users or members of the public, including acting in urgent circumstances; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or (iv) comply with the law or a legal process.
Should Spaceback sell all or a portion of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, Spaceback may transfer your Personal Identifiable Information to the party or parties involved as part of that transaction.

When a Member who is located in the European Union chooses to post Profile Information that will be publicly disclosed, that Member is responsible for ensuring that such information conforms to all local data protection laws. Spaceback is not responsible under the EU local data protection laws for Member-posted information.
Spaceback uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard your Personally Identifiable Information in our possession against unauthorized use or disclosure.
9. Access and Making Corrections
You have access to the information you provide and we encourage you to make sure the information you provide us is correct and up to date. Spaceback Members can review, make changes or corrections to the registration information and any Profile Information at any time, as well as control how Visitors, other Members and Spaceback communicate with you by logging into your account and accessing features such as “Edit Profile” and “Account Settings.” We will take reasonable steps to correct information that a Member informs us is incorrect.
10. Wish to Stop Being a Member?
Once you inform us that you wish Spaceback to stop using your Personal Identifiable Information, we will honor that request while retaining any records that are necessary to comply with applicable federal, state or local law.
